Youth Gathering
There is going to be an
estimated 25,000 to 30,000
youth and adults attending
the National Youth Gathering
this coming July in New
Orleans with worship service
on Sunday, July 18th ...
talk about your mega-church!
The generous response from
the congregation at our
Sweetheart Dinner on
February 13 raised more than
$1800.00 toward our trip to
the National Youth Gathering
this summer. It was a
wonderful night with food
and fun which really brings
all of the people involved
in I.M.P.A.C.T. closer
together.
We Need Used Cell
Phones
If you or someone you know
have cell phones that are no
longer used, bring them to
church and place them in the
donation boxes in the
narthex or outside the youth
rooms. The phones will be
re-furbished and re-used for
911 purposes or recycled;
but our Youth Ministry will
receive up to $75 per phone.
No accessories are needed –
only the phone and battery.
This phone drive will be an
on-going fundraiser.
Proceeds will go toward the
cost of the National Youth
Gathering 2010.
